A clear breakdown of free vs. paid seats: features, limits, and what upgrading gets you.

All users have a free seat by default. A free seat is created and owned by the individual, and it stays free for as long as you use it. A paid seat is provided by your airport or organization and unlocks Klayo's workforce management features.

Free seats

All individual users have access to these My Klayo features.

  • Access to online courses anywhere
  • Automated showcasing of your completed training in your Skills Passport
  • Upload of your own certificates, licences, and other credentials
  • Public profile access
  • Career explorer (limited data)
  • Set your Current role and Career goal
  • Viewing a career's description and Key Tasks
  • Your match score once you've added skills
  • The option to unlock individual jobs through the Klayo Intelligence add-on

 

Free tools for training managers

Managing a team's learning does not require a paid seat. Any training manager can, at no cost:

  • Manage a pre-paid credit balance
  • Invite, onboard, and enrol users into training
  • Run reports and analytics on courses and learners

 

Paid seats

Organizations with a Workforce Intelligence subscription may assign users to a paid seat. 

A paid seat includes everything in a free seat, plus the tools to manage your whole workforce: their roles, competencies, and compliance, alongside their training. Paid seats start from $300 per month for 25 users and add:

  • Jobs: obtain a clear picture on the specific responsibilities and requirements of each role in the organization.
  • Teams and groups: view and manage any customized groups of employees all in the one place.
  • Competencies: validate and audit employee skills, licenses, and other qualifications with an evidence-based approach.
  • Notifications: email and in-platform alerts for expiring competencies.
  • Gap analysis: identify gaps between job requirements and employee competencies in real-time.
  • Training: close competency gaps with recommended training courses.

Add-ons for paid seats

Two optional add-ons extend a paid seat further:

  • Training Plus: custom and internal training, practicals, and on-the-job tracking
  • Klayo Intelligence: AI-powered industry data for job benchmarking and career pathing
